Old Project |
End Result |
The old version of our project was a educational video explaining the physics and technique behind jumping a mountain bike. I had never done jumping like what we had did to that extent ever in my life so it was a new experience. My group mate Hunter was much more experienced than me in this forte so he took the leadership role, but towards the end we were both able to work off each other and really prosper as a group in general which made the end result even more spectacular than expected. We were able to use our local bike park in town to film all of the clips and cannot thank Stafford Lake Bike Park for having us out there and letting us use your facilities to make this project possible. Improving this project was not an easy task. I grouped up with Hunter and a few of our friends to create another Physics of Sports video incorporating a more in depth view of the sport. We chose soccer; one of the most world renowned sports out there. Our goal in the video was to teach the viewer how to take the "ideal" shot. We had multiple group mates participating for the project including myself who had prior experience in soccer and were able to direct this new ide of ours in the right direction. How we improved this video was by giving a more in depth description of how to shoot a soccer ball, but also how to properly warm up and stretch so when taking the shot you are reducing the likely hood of pulling or tearing a muscle. Here below is the link to our new and improved video.
